I like the blue/purple thing going on. I think I agree with you that the top ones aren't exactly coming across as hearts.
The bottom typographic house is interesting.....I liked the type direction you headed in the ones you showed wed. in class....the one that was starting to look more like a row home.

Well, I made doodle of row homes in class a while ago. Is that what you're talking about? I don't remember what the type looked like.
